2013 Vendors

Thank you for your interest in the Northeast Farmers Market! We are now accepting vendor applications for the 2014 outdoor season. For an application and information please contact the Market Manager at: nefarmersmarket@gmail.com.

We are interested in specialty vendors that can add cheese, fish, grains and/or plants to our unique market place. Please note we have limited openings for baked goods and produce. Application deadline is April 1st, 2014.

Produce 2013 – Full Season

Our Farmers offer everything from apples to berries to yams and zucchini over the course of the growing season. We host immigrant family farms, organic growers, orchardists, permaculturists, and a pasture-based beef, pork, and poultry operation. In all, eighteen farms are supported and sustained by our Market. This strengthens local agriculture and increases consumers’ connection to food- and don’t forget the fresh, healthy produce it brings into our community! Thank you, Farmers!

Brewer Gardens  – Brewer Gardens is located 6 miles from the market and have been with us for 13 years. There is no use of fossil fuel equipment and you’ll only find the best quality of their hand grown, hand processed cherries, apples, berries,  greens, fruits and vegetables. 

Blia’s Garden – Fresh beans, egg plant, berries, tomatoes, sweet corn, flowers, lettuce, peppers, beets and squash.

Burning River Farm – CSA and Certified Naturally Grown. Find salad mix, arugula, kale sunflower and pea shoots, scallions, broccoli, turnips, pak choi, Italian dandelion, and swiss chard.

Chor Khang’s Produce - Fresh beans, onions, cilantro, egg plants, cabbage, greens, peppers and carrots.

eQuality Farms - Currently transitioning to Certified Organic, you’ll find tomatoes, cut flowers, lettuce, herbs, root vegetables, squash, cucumbers, broccoli and cauliflower.

Healthy Greens – Certified Naturally Grown and Minnesota Grown, Healthy Greens brings you diverse vegetables while practicing chemical free farming. Beans, beets, brussels sprouts, greens, carrots, melons, shallots, jalapeno, bitter melon and jicama.

Her Family Farm – Fresh beets, Broccoli, cabbage, green onion, potatoes, dill, rhubarb, mint, parsley, leeks and zucchini.

Lorpao Lee’s Produce – Locally grown produce and Minnesota Grown. Fresh cut flowers, bakchoy, collards, okra, parsnip, radish, watermelon, shallots, pumpkins, mustard greens, daikon, chives and celery.

Mai Ger Xiong – Fresh fruits, cut flowers, chard, parsnip, greens, herbs, and peppers.

Sandy Vang – Fresh asparagus, basil, bok choy, cantaloupe, celery, radish, snap peas, turnips, pickles, apples and watermelon.

See and Jeff’s Farm - A variety of fresh produce, fresh cut flowers, berries variety, and apples.

Song’s Produce - Hanging flowers, potted flowers and plants, potted herbs, Japanese egg plant, lemon grass, brussels sprouts, asparagus, sugar snap peas, Thai chili peppers, and Thai egg plant.

Thao Xiong Farm - Sweet corn, peppers, spinach, dill, watermelon, greens, carrots, beets, potatoes, leeks and zucchini.

Two Pony Tomatoes – Heirloom tomatoes, herbs, micro greens, onions and garlic.

Yang’s Flowers and Vegetables - Flowers, herbs, beets, broccoli, cabbage, cucumbers, onions, rhubarb, sweet corn, and peas.

Baked Goods & Specialty Foods 2013

Our Saturday morning Market is the core of who we are and what we do. We are proud to host a variety of vendors each week, from farmers and food trucks to bakers and baristas to entrepreneurs and educators. These folks provide our community with locally grown and produced fresh foods and unique gifts and services- all hand-produced by the vendors themselves. Their hard work and creativity defines the Market. Thank you, Vendors!

Gnocchi Me - Northeast-based and Northeast Farmers Market exclusive, enjoy a shortrib ragu over potato gnocchi or polenta, mushroom ragu, potato gnocchi with brown butter and sage, banana polenta with Nutella and fresh barries. Also find seasonal soups and salads.

Great Harvest Bread - Whole wheat breads, cinnamon rolls, cookies, muffins, scones, granola, sweet breads and dry mixes. 

Haas Brothers, LLC – All natural handmade and preservative free hot salsa, mango salsa, black bean and corn salsa, medium salsa, tortilla chips, roasted red pepper hummus and Thai chili pepper hummus.

Hosta Grove Gardens Hostas, coneflowers, black-eyed susans, lilies, pickled fruits and vegetables, jams and jellies. 

Molly’s Fresh Spring Rolls – Hand rolled vegetable spring rolls with cucumbers, carrots, avocado, and lettuce.

Rebecca’s Bakery - Fresh baked pastry, zeppole, bread, pies, baklava, cookies, ricotta, crostata, tiramisu, and fruit tarts. 

Tantalize Sweets and Savories - Fresh baked scones, cookies, sweet rolls, pound cakes, candy, savory snacks mixes, and coffee cakes. 

Turtle Bread Company - Variety of cookies, croissants, muffins, sour dough bread, chocolate bread, baguette, and green olive bread.

SIP Coffee Bar - All organic fair trade cold press coffee, savory tarts, puff pastries, quiches: ham and cheese, roasted vegetable and pear gorgonzola.

Smoothie Cycle - Smoothie Cycle blends pedal-powered fruit smoothies using a bicycle blender. 

We Be Jammin’ - Homemade jam, handmade washcloths, coffee cuffs, vintage buttons, and crocheted items.

Food Trucks 2013

With nearly a dozen micro-restaurants offering ready-to-eat treats, prepared food at the Market have never been better! Marketgoers can munch on spring rolls, fish tacos, fish-n-chips, smoothies, banh-mi sandwiches, gnocchi, grass-fed beef hotdogs, Indian cuisine and more! Plus, our new fleet of food trucks got rave reviews. 

Anchor Fish and Chips Food Truck  - Fish and Chips, meat and veggie pasties, peas, beans, coleslaw, curry and gravy. 

Hot Indian Foods - Indian Burritos with chicken, lamb or butter paneer. Indian fried snacks and Chai drinks. 

NatesDogs - Pastures A Plenty pork wieners and bratwurst served with mustard, caramelized onions and Sauerkraut. Sides include chips, Spring Grove sodas, water and Natedogs Honey-Spiced mustard bottles. 

The Moral Omnivore - Fried tomato BLT, beet sliders, curried lentil taco, veggie burger, curried mushroom fries, wild rice arancini, eggs benedict, waffles chips and breakfast sandwiches. The Moral Omnivore uses sustainable practices, supports local bakeries and farms and uses fresh local ingredients. 

Vellee Deli  - Banh Mi sandwiches, Korean BBQ, Tofu curry and chicken burritos, fish tacos, quesadilla, B.P.T., and Vellee Rolls.
